Bayer’s Dermatology unit is dedicated to providing innovative solutions for skin diseases. The global specialist has a successful track record in the development, manufacturing and marketing of innovative prescription drug products for the treatment of severe skin diseases.
Dermatology was also a pioneer in the development of locally applicable corticosteroid treatments.
As part of Bayer HealthCare with commercial operations all around the globe, the unit offers a broad spectrum of proven, top-quality products to treat acne, rosacea, eczema, psoriasis, hemorrhoids and fungal infections.
In 2010 - with more than 700 employees worldwide – Bayer’s Dermatology unit reached sales of US $ 390 million. It is headed by CEO and President Marc Lafeuille and headquartered in Berlin with its main production facility in Milan, Italy.
